SAU Equipes 2.50 adjusts Routes screen and recalculation
The update keeps the screen awake in Routes, improves map readability, and changes recalculation criteria. The adjustments remain under validation, with no measured operational result.
Published on October 1, 2026, the version 2.50 record for the SAU Equipes app describes changes to Routes for field teams. The screen stays awake while Routes is open and returns to Android’s normal sleep behavior when the user leaves that area; it is also released when the app moves to the background. On the map, the vehicle icon grows from 40 to 60 points and is no longer translucent. The compass is moved below the Incident button.
Recalculation compares the vehicle’s position with route segments, using a 50-meter tolerance, and is requested only after three consecutive readings off route; there is a minimum 60-second interval between calculations, and recalculation is suspended in the background. The route line is built from the route-stage lines or, if those are unavailable, from the overall route line. The items are marked as awaiting validation, and the record reports no measured results for route-request usage.
