SAMU-DF clinical data and safeguards before using AI

A study is assessing the transfer of vital signs and ECG records from ambulances to medical dispatch. For AI analysis, a privacy barrier can handle personal data before it reaches a model.

Inova has begun studying how to integrate vital signs and ECG records collected in ambulances with SAMU 192-DF medical dispatch through SAU 360. The proposal aims to give dispatch physicians faster access to this information, with security and traceability; the study does not say that Rota Nacional is involved.

If clinical data is sent to an AI model for analysis, Rota Nacional’s barrier can detect personal data and apply the organization’s policy—replace it with markers, remove it, or block it—before the model runs. The OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible API can add this step to a workflow; metadata stays in the dashboard, while raw prompts and responses are kept in an AES-256-GCM-encrypted audit archive.
